GT7: The Journey | 3rd Day on the Euro Account | Daily Race C; Poor Consistency in the Huracán 🤦🏾♂️
0I was going to stay in the Huracán to see if I should purchase it as a main for this account. The race this time around was Dragon Trail - Gardens. I am usually pretty slow around here compared to other A/A+ ranked drivers, but this time around....setup was an option. I am a failed engineering student who loves setting up and tuning 4WD cars, so I was able to almost get the Huracán into the top 1000 after 30 or so minutes of practice(I know. I should have practiced more, but I didn't have the time).
This laptime would easily get me on pole in a B | S lobby, but for some reason, I found it extremely difficult to keep the car on the track. 2 races in, both last place finishes earlier in the day from bending it bad. 3rd race, I finish well, and in the 4th race, I finally get a race win. The 5th race was this one. Another race where I'm on pole, but I just don't have the consistency to keep the car on track or the consistency to nail my apexes, and then when the penalties start to add up, I lose yet another potential race victory.
This race was supposed to help me boost my DR, but it only hurt it, and I only slightly increased it after this race. The Huracán was fun to drive, but because it performed so badly, it will not be one of my mains for this account.
