GTA IV - It's Your Call to No. 1 (No Failures) (PC)
0I have finally began working on the GTA IV Story Mission Marathon Videos and they are coming along nicely!
Not much to say here. Things "could have been faster" by Speedrunning Standards, but, like, who cares? Not me. I hate Any% in the HD Era because it consists of hitting pause nonstop and jacking the Vehicle Density to 100% to find a Taxi so you can have it warp you around the Map, and then putting it back down to 1% Density after the fact. Of course all of that warping around the Map TO Missions and DURING Missions saves a LOT of time, but it also removes any stress of driving and having ANYTHING going wrong in those moments, so as usual, I always take the HARDER, LONGER path to success as there is no point in playing unless there is a challenge.
Some Missions don't actually need to be completed in the manners you see me do them in. A lot of those "chase this guy here" can be done quicker or skipping the part entirely depending on your skill with shooting quickly and accurately. For instance in "Ivan the Not So Terrible," you don't even have to chase Ivan...But, that means, you're Free Aim Drive-By Skills are insanely good so that when you meet up with Ivan at Roman's Cab Depot, you can just Drive-By kill him within a few seconds, much sooner than having him reach his destination and then going through those ladders and all that boring and LONGER ways to do the Mission. There is more of these kind of Missions, too, like "Bleed Out" where you save Roman. You can save him, immediately turn Niko around and blow the guy away BEFORE he enters the Willard and drives off with it. Again, I don't care to be that good as I have better things to do with my life than master Video Games which are nothing serious, so these Videos are always casual. What I focus on is STAMINA and seeing how long I can go without failing Missions, dying, getting busted, and saving as little as possible in the meantime.
This is the first of SIX total Videos before reaching "Out of Commission" and finishing the Story and reaching the Credits. I am very rusty with Free Aim Drive-By'ing in this Video, but I assure you, I get better as other Videos and Missions progress later on. But yeah, in all the Missions within this Video that involve Free Aim Drive-By, I suck. Next Videos, I get way better cuz that is what happens when you practice. You get better. Last time I played these games? Months ago when I did my IV Save and also the Mission Marathon Videos for TLaD and TBoGT. Like I said, I never repeat the same sequence of events to get better and better, faster and faster, whatever happens first take is what I go with and that is these Videos.
