GTA SA Special Vehicle Guide: EC/EM Conversion (2 of 4)
Welcome to my Special Vehicle Guide for GTA SA! This Video will show you how to convert ANY Vehicle CJ can drive into EC/EM (Exclusive Color / Exclusive Modification) from "Mountain Cloud Boys" with passing the Mission. Exclusive Color means the Vehicle's Color can never be found in traffic or parked, nor can the Color be acquired from a Pay and Spray, no matter how many times you respray it. Exclusive Modification is referring to a Modification on the Vehicle Model that normally wouldn't be there. In regards to this EC/EM NRG-500, the Exclusive Modification would be everything done in the Transfender because you can't even drive a NRG-500 into a Mod Garage under normal circumstances and modify it, period.
Where Things Take Place in the Video:
1:00 - 3:30 - Beginning "Mountain Cloud Boys" and going through the Mission like normal while leaving one enemy alive so I can park a Vehicle on top of him without killing him and then driving to Transfender while leaving Woozie behind
3:35 - 4:40 - Entering the Transfender Color Palette during the Cutscene and then waiting until I can take control of CJ and then pressing the Exit Vehicle Button which brings me backward in the Mod Menu but still maintaining it and then taking out both enemy Sentinel's and keeping Woozie alive
4:45 - 7:45 - Running on foot back to the Doherty Garage with Woozie and the Mod Menu still maintained
7:50 - 8:55 - Entering the Vehicle in which I want to convert to EC/EM (in this case an NRG-500) and converting it into EC/EM form by selecting Colors and Vehicle Mods within Transfender before exiting Transfender with the EC/EM Vehicle
9:00 - 9:30 - Driving Woozie back to his house to pass the Mission using my EC/EM NRG-500
9:35 - 10:35 - Taking the EC/EM NRG-500 back to a Garage
10:55 - 11:28 - After saving the game, reloading the Save and checking on the EC/EM NRG-500 to show it off
***The Method I show in the Video will work for EVERY Platform and Version out there for GTA SA.
If you intend to convert Motorcycles into EC/EM form, just note that sometimes when you fall into Blue Hell and respawn back on land, your Bike will NOT be in your possession, which means redoing the entire process!
Before making this Video, I actually intended to convert not only the NRG-500 into EC/EM, but also the Forklift and Maverick that were in the Garage all at the same time and pass the Mission but then decided I wouldn't because I show multiple Vehicles done in later Videos for EC/EM Conversions. Not to mention, those enemy Sentinel's usually will waste Woozie or even CJ will die, thus you have to redo the entire process and it becomes very annoying. As you can see, I nearly die in the Video, actually.
You CAN convert up to FOUR Vehicles into EC/EM form that are inside the SAME Garage. In order to accomplish that, all you have to do is fully modify your Vehicle of choice, but then exit your Vehicle (you'll have a black screen and doing this blindly) and then enter another nearby Vehicle in your Garage and do the same process to it. Rinse and repeat until all four Vehicles are converted into EC/EM form and then fully exit the Transfender!
***IMPORTANT*** - Not all Vehicle Mods will work. It all depends on the Vehicle Model you're trying to modify as well as the actual Modifications you're selecting! For instance, if I were to try and mod Hydraulics on the NRG-500, the game will crash! But if you install the same Hydraulics on let's say a Maverick, the game will NOT crash!
***ANY TIME YOU SEE*** the "Mod Menu" on your screen after failing/passing a Mission, it ultimately means you not only can use it for an EC/EM Conversion, but also an AP Conversion and an EC Transfer Conversion, and all without OM0. With that said, whether OM0 is used or not, the EC/EM Conversion, AP Conversion, and EC Transfer Conversion still needs the Mod Menu in order to do it and it feels very cheap to me, so I don't recommend any of this stuff using Conversions for your main Save Files! Not to mention, there IS an OM0 Method for an EC/EM Conversion AFTER 100%, too. How about we just obtain Special Vehicles legit rather than converting them? Every time an EC/EM Conversion is used, it's in fact recorded in the Stats by the "Vehicle Modifications" Budget Stat.
