GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: Lustered/EC Orange Bison
In this Video, I show how to obtain the Lustered/EC Orange Bison from "Repossession." After I obtain it, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
Unlike IV, TLaD, and TBoGT, Lusters behave MUCH differently in V. You can NOT just reload your Save and try again for a different Luster. Instead, you must approach different Strategies to change Lusters. Start Repossession, drive to the Alleyway and walk up to the Bison. If the Bison doesn't have a Special Luster, jack it, this will fail the Mission, and now hit Exit. After you're out of the Mission, drive the same Orange Bison out of the Alleyway and back to the Dealership, start the Mission again, and use the same Orange Bison to drive back to the Alleyway. This is called the Long Retry Method. Repeat until you get a Special Luster. Once it's Special, jack it and hit Exit, then store it in your Garage.
Don't do what I did in the Video! You NEED to jack the Orange Bison, fail the Mission, and USE it while doing the next Attempt of the Mission! If you don't do that for the Bison, then the Luster won't change! I didn't drive the Orange Bison back to Simeon's and then back the Alleyway, thus why the Luster hasn't changed.
This Video shows how to get it to change - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbPSMcx3Yp0

Once again unlike IV, TLaD, and TBoGT, MOST Lusters are NOT going to be special in V. So that means if this Bison would interest you, you'd want to surely get one of the TWO ONLY SPECIAL Lusters that can spawn on this Bison. However, to know the exact Luster, you would have to boot your Save up in a Save Editor to check the Colors you get to know if it's truly special or not in terms of the Luster!
A Luster is a Color in which overlaps the Base Color and can be seen when I move the camera angle around in sunlight. Some Lusters are better seen at night while some are better seen in daylight and there is even some Lusters, depending on the Base Color of the Vehicle, that are very faint and you'll hardly be able to see them.
