On Peter Quill’s 13th Birthday, Chitauri attack his home and kidnap him. Years later he is now the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a group of “Heroes” that take on odd jobs to earn cash. But after accepting a job to hunt a monster, they get caught up in a conspiracy involving a god, a little girl, and massive amounts of energy.
