Gundam Battle Operation 2: Initial Thoughts on The Geara Doga Kai!
61The GDK is a 550 general that is basically just a better Geara Doga.
The weapons on the GDK are nearly the same minus a WAY better beam machine gun a, different downswing on the beam sword, and much more damage on the beam axe. Combos are pretty much the same along with outputting some crazy melee damage. You also come with nice skills like Activate Guard level 3, which is the best Active Guard. You will take 80% less damage with it up, but it goes even higher with your leg and shield buffers! You even get a dodge roll, making the GDK's defense game better than the poor Full Armor MK2 that lives at the same cost with only Active Guard level 1. The suit also comes with Anti-Stealth level 1, Observational Data Link, and Power Accelerator level 2!
Buckethead overall feels like a better Geara Doga with more versatility in range game to support some different play styles. It can work just fine in the frontline if you're careful enough and can be really devastating when backing a teammate that can bounce back and forth with it. However, you do lack Manuever Armor, which can make it harder to approach with melee or retreat effectively. The suit is still quite good and if you don't care at all about saving for the upcoming anniversary then I really recommend you roll for this, especially if you love the Geara Dogas! If the OG Doga can get a level for 650 then this suit will 100% get there eventually.
