MS Explanation:
A special test unit created by conducting extensive modifications based on the Efreet and used to test the EXAM system developed by Zeon's Newtype research institution. The EXAM system was intended to allow regular pilots to go toe-to-toe with Newtype pilots in terms of combat potential. When the system detected powerful hostile brainwaves, it would purge the limiters placed on the MS, drawing out combat potential that exceeded all limits and supporting control operations that no normal person could ever hope to perform. However, the system was incomplete, and while it would activate automatically when the MS was in danger, it left significant damage after deactivation. As this particular MS was tuned to suit the test pilot, it was particularly unique, with a strong emphasis on close combat.
