This is a video i put together to demo some things to my friend Drunken Dan. I did a series of tests where i pit my custom characters against some of the best characters in the game. Please forgive the crappy random names i gave them, as this is a save file from when the game was new (2003) The first set of tests was Leslie, my best mobile suit pilot vs. Char, the best story character (purely stats wise) I almost had him a few times, which is bad considering the Blue Destiny Unit 2 has lower base stats by a lot unless you get EXAM system activated. You need a whole special meter to activate EXAM but it gives you infinite boosting which makes it borderline broken if it can survive that long. I showed off my best mobile armor pilot, Jakken (yay for obscure character). The Val Varo is one of the fastest units in the game and has really powerful melee attacks. He could tear up Amuro even in the Wing Zero Custom which is one of the strongest units in the game. Then the later tests showed how much my custom pilots could outclass the best story characters if they're on equal footing in mech stats/abilities. Also, lol Gattle.
