Joe starts off with a UFC tilt in Brazil for UFC Fight Night 170 as Kevin Lee faces off against Brazilian Charles Oliveira at 155 lbs. Oliveira comes into the fight having won his six previous matches, four by submission. Meanwhile Lee, who is three years younger (27), sports an 18-5 record but has dropped three of his last five fights. Joe has a great stat regarding Oliveira and fighting in Brazil.

With footy still set to be played, Ninja has some wagers for you! It’s Bundesliga action as Borussia Dortmund host Schalke 04. On paper this game is a mismatch as Erling Haaland’s squad have won their last four matches in Bundesliga play. However for this game, Ninja’s bet is on the first half.

Next up for Ninja is more Bundesliga action with FC Cologne facing Mainz. Mainz come into this match having allowed the third most goals in Bundelsiga (53) and have shown that they struggle on the defensive side of the ball. Iain has a couple fight picks from the UFC and Bellator, and his first pick is for the UFC. Demien Maia squares off against Gilbert Burns as part of UFC Fight Night 170. Maia is a cagey vet of the octagon and has worn down opponents with his ruthless wrestling abilities and Burns could be up next. Though Burns comes into this fight on a four-fight winning streak, the big question for Burns is if he’s ready for someone of Maia’s abilities and octagon presence.
Iain is also betting on a fight on the Bellator 241 card. Matt Mitrione is replacing Josh Barnett in a heavyweight fight against Ronny Markes. Affectionately known as “Meathead”, Mitrione didn’t hesitate to take on this fight last minute with a chance to put on a show.
Harry Gagnon is in on NASCAR and it’s the Folds of Honor Quick Trip 500 in Atlanta, Georgia. Harry’s pick has put together a solid season thus far with a couple of top 10 finishes. He’s also won on this track before.
