The band from Leicester (Leicestershire County), originally called "Legay" and released in 1968 the only single "No-one / The Fantastic Story Of The Steam Driven Banana" on Fontana. Then we changed the name to “Gypsy”. The self-titled debut album was released on United Artists in 1971.
