They could've done a better job on Skeith's voice, but I really only think that now after hearing stuff like Sovereign and Harbinger.

By the way, in all the rounds of the tournament your opponents are, in order, Bordeaux, Matsu, Alkaid(♥), Kuhn, and Endrance. I find this interesting because all five of them become available as party members sooner or later.

Now, you may say, hey, this is like that whole DBZ/Yu Yu Hakusho/whatever the hell else anime thing with fighting tournaments wherein the main character faces a very important character every round and all unimportant characters get conveniently taken out by them in a very conveniently-laid-out bracket wherein no important characters ever face each other before their match with the main character (okay that took longer to say than I thought it would...). But no, that's not the case in the Holy Palace and the Sage Palace tournaments. In fact, with the exception of a rematch with Bordeaux in the Holy Palace and a random battle with Antares which I'm not really sure how it's significant to the plot in the Sage Palace, you face no partiable characters in either of them, and only one or two that might even be considered marginally important (though very minor).
