Half-life 2: Episode 2 Playthrough Part 7 - Seeing Double and Into the Abyss
3Playthrough of Half-life 2: Episode 2 made by Valve. There are a couple of things to keep in mind throughout the run:
1. I'm playing on Easy. If I were to play at a harder difficulty, I'd have to restart a million times and it wouldn't be fun to watch, which brings us to:
2. I am overcautious about having full health/armor/ammo, so I restart saves quite a few times. I'll try to restrict myself from doing this as frequently as I usually do, but I'll still do it a lot.
3. There's a lot of blinking throughout the videos. I don't know what causes this, but it doesn't really affect the run.
This time, I fight both an antlion guard, and an antlion guardian. It's not really that hard, I just gathered up all of the explosives I could, and it worked pretty well. I accidently triggered a chain reaction near the end, but I finished the antlion guard off with the shotgun.
After that, I ascend the elevator, and then come to the huge abyss or deserted town, and start my descent. I don't use the shortcut here.
