Hard Permadeath is a challenging way to replay Half-Life 2, the goal is to get through all of Half-Life 2 without a single death or else you have to start over. While term has been around for awhile it was coined more recently by DoItAll who started doing runs of Half-Life 2 at the beginning of this year, there's an unspoken contest between him and I to see who can beat Half-Life 2 this way first so we'll see who eventually pulls it off! Overall it's a neat excuse to replay the game again and the challenge makes the game feel almost new again. Also, this will not be an isolated incident, once I beat Half-Life 2 this way I'll move on to other games doing the same thing including the original Half-Life, GoldenEye, Left 4 Dead, you name it!
