Half-Life 2 unused weapons in Garry's Mod.
The unused weapons from Half-Life 2 which also work in Garry's Mod. And no, these aren't the Half-Life 2 beta weapons.
Alyx's Gun - Like with Half-Life 2 this weapon doesn't have an ammo pickup, so you'll have to put givecurrentammo in the developer console. In Garry's Mod, it uses the stock pistol as the viewmodel, it instantly goes into your inventory in slot 2.
Annabelle - like with Half-Life 2 it uses the Shotgun viewmodel and uses the Magnum ammo, and even used the Half-Life 2 beta Shotgun hud icon. In Garry's Mod, it doesn't permanently replace the AR2 in your inventory and has its own spot in slot 3.
Food Package (AKA Citizen Package) - like with Half-Life 2, it uses the worldmodel and obstructs the player's view, and in Garry's Mod, adds the hand of the player's selected skin creating even more obstruction.
Citizen Suitcase (or just the Suitcase) - like with Half-Life 2, it uses the worldmodel and obstructs the player's view, and in Garry's Mod, adds the hand of the player's selected skin creating even more obstruction.
Cubemap - used mainly to test reflections on surfaces, nothing much to say here.
Vortex Hopwire - doesn't work or spawn due to being only found in Portal, as Garry's Mod only accepts weapons from Half-Life 2 and its episodes, as well as Half-Life Source.
Lastly, using one of the last three weapons shown here will permanently replace the SMG in your hud, meaning you have to manually use the entity menu to get the SMG and you can't use the Cubemap, Citizen Package and Suitcase at the same time.
In Conclusion, never use the unused Half-Life 2 weapons in Garry's Mod unless your bored of public GMod servers.
