Since Halo 2 Anniversary is using the same engine Halo 4 is using, you're able to enable sprint in multiplayer and use it just like in Halo 4. 3rd person doesn't look any different. The camera wobbles the same but the spartan animation doesn't change.
Quick Tutorial on How to achieve with assembly.

1. Open any map in Assembly.
2. Search for the "matg" tag (Globals)
3. Open it and search for "Sprint Usage"
4. Change Setting to "True" from "False"
5. Poke
6. Press the Button you would press to Sprint in Halo 4
7. Congrats Halo 2 Anniversary is now Ruined. 👍
