Right, time to explain the exception I mentioned in my previous video. Which is pretty simple. Headshot weapons are allowed against ONLY Jackal Snipers. My reason being, it's nearly if not outright impossible to get past the famous Sniper Alley without using one nor glitching aka Rooftops. Let me lay down the specifics.

So first, what do we have on the Sniper Alley? We have of course, Jackal Snipers which there's 6 of them. 2-4 Jackals, at least 3 waves of Drones that comes in 4-5 of them and 3 Stealth Elites which can be Plasma Rifles, Energy Sword and / or the worst one, Dual Plasma Rifles.

Now the locations of the Snipers. You have the one in 7:18 which casually strolls out in the open, can be killed with a Grenade easily. The opposite end houses 2 of them, both of which are the main problem, the center of the alley hiding behind the weapon crate, can be killed with the covenant. . .exploding thing with a grenade and one on each side of the rooftop. The one on the right can be killed with a grenade spot that I found while the left is also yet another problem.

The Jackals can come out while fighting at any given point and they come from the alley that you'll have to go through after this part. Not sure about the Drones but I believe they might be linked to the Jackal Snipers on the opposite end or it could be enemy count in the area. Stealth Elites will move once you go near the part where the 7:18 Sniper Jackal was.

And for the options without headshot weapons? You have Plasma Pistol, Plasma Rifle, Needler and SMG. Discounting Frag and Plasma Grenades, that is literally all you have. So this is the part where I said earlier of the 3 Jackal Snipers being the problem. How is anyone going to kill them with these available weapons WITHOUT going to the rooftop.

The left rooftop Jackal Sniper can probably be killed with a grenade but I'll leave that to someone else to find out as I cannot find the spot for it. What about the opposite end? I thought of everything I can but there is just no solution to killing them without you being dead in 1 frame. The weapons I just listed cannot instantly kill them, SMG, Needler are inaccurate and out of range. Which leaves Plasma Pistol and Rifle which have accuracy but range is a different question. Even if the two can kill them, you'll be dead before the shot landed on the Sniper. Plasma Weapons are not hitscan while the Beam is.

What about grenades? Not a option either. Not only you are out of range from a safe area, there's a roof covering the both of them. You'll have to move near the center of the alley to even try to grenade them and for that, you'll have to run through the area WHILE being in the open against every enemy that can appear in the area. Even by the off chance you do make it, you'll have to be in the open in order to throw the grenade and land near them successfully.

In other words, it's straight up near if not impossible to try to kill them without a headshot weapon. Before anyone says about using Marines, while excellent with Snipers, they are not consistent therefore not something that should be relied on.

Is that the only reason why I make this exception? No. It's also because it ain't fun to sit there and wait for Johnson to deal with the Snipers in the first area or the one in 6:44 which by the way, has the same issue as the 2 of them on the opposite end. Therefore to make it doable, this exception has to be made. Unless of course someone is mental enough to actually do the game without this exception. Which probably will exist given enough time. People are mental nowadays anyway.

As for the level, not exactly difficult up till the Vehicle section as usual. Not sure if 9:40 counts as a skip but I'll take it as no not really. All I did is preventing more to spawn even though 3 grunts seemed to despawn as a result. Had to do it the annoying way of relying on the Marines in the vehicle section. Not fun as usual.
