Thanks to the Master Chief Collection, Halo 3 ODST is still playable online in 2024 for Co-Op Campaign and Co-Op Firefight! Firefight is a single or cooperative wave defense mode in Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach, where up to four players can cooperate with one another via system link or Xbox LIVE and fight against waves of Covenant attackers. This mode allows them to battle in multiple environments based on campaign maps, on foot or in vehicles, against increasingly difficult waves of Covenant attackers. This mode has always been my personal favorite across all Halo games it is included in as I'm not very skilled at the multiplayer.
