In recent years, Halo has seen uncertainty. The series was at its peak during the Xbox 360 days with Halo 3. When Halo 4 came out though, it marked a shift in the design philosophy for what it meant to be a Halo game. This is in largest part due to the abrupt shift in developers. After Bungie left the Halo scene and 343 Industries took over, something changed.
