I think most retro gaming fans remember the Atari Jaguar, it was Atari’s final console way back in mid 90’s. It was, at least the shell was, involved in a scam Kickstarter project that moved to IndieGoGo around 2015 (I was one of many that covered this fiasco – even had a few lawsuits over my coverage threatened). One thing that is amazing that did happen to the Jaguar was Mattel buying Atari’s gaming assets, they released the Jaguar to the community in 1998. That part is key because it literally opened the Jaguar to those with the knowledge to make games and fostered the support we see still going today. One such title is Hammer of the Gods, a brawler currently in development.
