I made a video a couple weeks ago looking at the announcement of the Super Retro-Cade, the brand new plug-n-play console from Retro-Bit. With more than 90 arcade and console hits from companies like Capcom and Data East and a $60 asking price, this upcoming system seemed like a killer deal. But this is the same company that gave us the disappointing Generations plug-n-play device last year, so I approached the announcement with guarded optimism. I needed to play the system for myself to make sure history did not repeat itself.

I have now played the Super Retro-Cade and am ready to let out a big sigh of relief. After spending some time with the system, games, interface and controller, I am now ready to answer every question you could possibly have. Today we're going to spend some time going over the finer details, comparing the two Retro-Bit systems, and even announcing more games. Let's go ahead and start with the first question.

Featuring: 1942, 1943, Armored Warriors, Captain Commando, Code Name: Viper, Commando, Exed Exes, Final Fight, Final Fight 2, Final Fight 3, Forgotten Worlds, Ghosts 'N Goblins, Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Gun Smoke, Knights of the Round, Legendary Wings, Mega Man 2, Mega Man 3, Mega Twins, Mercs, Mighty Final Fight, Section Z, Side Arms, SonSon, Street Fighter 2010, Strider, Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Three Wonders, Trojan, Varth, Bad Dudes, Buggy Popper, Burger Time, Congo's Caper, Dark Lord, Fighter's History, Heavy Barrel, Joe & Mac, Karate Champ, Magical Drop, Secret Agent, Side Pocket, Wizard Fire, Double Dragon, Double Dragon 3, Super Dodge Ball, Renegade, The Combatribes, Mutant Fighters, Super Birdie Rush and more!
