Hey everyone, welcome to my stream! Today I’m going to be testing out a new technology called av1 encoder on YouTube and OBS.
An encoder is what converts the video and audio from my computer to the format that you can watch online.
The av1 encoder is supposed to be faster and more efficient than the previous ones, which means it could improve the stream quality in the future.
However, it’s still experimental, so there might be some glitches and bugs along the way. That’s why I need your help to test it out and give me feedback.
I’ll be playing a variety of games, from FPS to RPG to indie, and switching between them randomly. You never know what I’ll play next, so stay tuned!
I’ll also be playing some drums along with some songs (muted for legal reasons), so you can enjoy some live music and see how the encoder handles it.
