So much of a time has passed since the last playtest (that took way back in July 30th!), and now we can surely say that the multiplayer client is more or less ready and there for the taking!

Now the playtest server is always online (unlike previously with its limited playtest times), meaning you can join it whenever you want and invite over everyone you can play with (as long as they have latest and legitimate 1.2.0.59 version of the game, and not 1.0.8.0 and lower)!

All you have to do is download the client, install it, follow all the instructions and you're ready to go.
