Happy Sugar Life Episode 12 Reaction/Review l So. Many. Questions.
Ike's reaction/review to episode 12 of Happy Sugar Life. So. Many. Questions. It's the reason why this video is thirty minutes long. I'm sorry.
Happy Sugar Life, overall, is a fun experience. There's a lot of things that gets me thinking and I'm very happy with this anime adaptation. I'm not fond of the ending, but that's just my nihilism wanting everybody dead. Now let's see the end for the manga.
Ok. So after a second watch, I realize that the flash forward scene was Satou thinking about the life that Shio could have. It's not just what could've happened if they did find their new castle. She then decided to keep Shio alive in order for her to continue living. Satou also said something about rebirth? Eeehhh??
I guess because Satou said something about rebirth that Shio thinks that she's been "reborn." She and Satou is one now.
The scene where Satou is dressing up Hida is pretty inefficient on her hand. However, I see why she did it. She considered Hida as a person who she thought was her friend before the inevitable happened. We see the guilt eating her after episode 9, but Shio is always there to stop the process.
Satou's aunt is the real MVP over here. She's willing to go through with Satou's plan and take the blame for it. Even with all the shit that Satou has done, her aunt still loves her. I'm assuming that she's also the one who helped Satou with the previous body...? Or maybe that's just me.
Wait... the glass shattered when Asahi attacked Satou. So that must've meant the glass cut her... but did he hit her with enough force to knock her back and break the glass? I don't get it.
