The answer to the question on why I have so much XP. First, It's Hardcore Mode and I have never died on this world. Second, back in 2012 with snapshot 12w22a there was no progressive cost per level limiter on XP. By smelting and mining you could get your XP into the hundreds or thousands. It was fixed in 12w23a.
