Join me on a playthrough of Microprose's 1994 classic turn-based squad tactical game XCOM UFO Defense (or UFO: Enemy Unknown in the UK). We'll take on a punishing enhancement of the alien threat with the Hardmode Expansion, made possible by OpenXcom. This mod expands on the Superhuman difficulty of the original game in several lore friendly ways, including the use of drones, psionic range and energy requirements, and much more difficult economy. This is a dead-is-dead playthrough so we're going to get absolutely mauled. The game has the following mods/options active:
