Harley Jr. stars in our How-To Hike with your cat series. My boyfriend Steve Drury Sr. and Ray the Service Dog were on hand to help me, phoenixgenesis, show you different techniques when you take your cat out for a casual stroll in nature.

In Part 1, I am demonstrating my kitty freestyle of simply tossing your cat over your shoulders and walking at a nice even pace on a flat surface. Since it was quite hot out, we did a short hour plus hike at Rio De Los Angeles State Park in Los Angeles, California. Video and commentary recorded by me on July 30, 2014 via iPhone.
