In the 10 years since the last Harry Potter movies, behind the scenes secrets are still being revealed about the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s iconic books. As the iconic film franchise was coming to a close, the set provided plenty of awe inspiring moments, and heartfelt sendoffs. Stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint recount racing each other during the chase in the woods scene, inventing a wacky game called dangerball, and marveling at Daniel playing seven versions of his character Harry Potter, who is being impersonated by seven different characters. Starring in the world famous movies for the entire first decade of the 21st century and the bulk of their childhoods, the video also gives an inside look into the final day of filming, when Radcliffe, Watson, and Grint said goodbye to Harry, Hermoine, and Ron as their quest to defeat Voldemort and recover the elder wand came to a close. The video also explores how the production brought the wizarding world to the real world, filming all over the United Kingdom, including shutting down London’s prolific area Piccadilly Circus for the first time in over 30 years, though that didn’t stop fans from trying to peek in. Finally the video delves into some of the small details and contributions that went a long way in putting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 over the top.
