Winter 20, Year 1 - Review as Chelsea w/ Commentary [part 2/2]

Starting to use Camtasia Studio 7 with this video. Everything seems great so far! Smaller file sizes, but still great quality. Will be using this for my next LP, too.

Review of Sunshine Islands, inside joke on pie and water and a bit of fish, talking about the bachelors, etc.

Let's see, out of 10... This is just my opinion.

Graphics: Well, if I'm comparing to only HM DS game, which there is only 5 others (if you count Puzzle de Harvest Moon and Frantic Farming). SI beats them all, I guess. So... a 10/10? I think Grand Bazaar is better than SI in the graphics category, but it's not released in English, yet.

Gameplay: It's a tough game, I got to say. Because of the crop system, the mining and the farm degree system. Gameplay isn't much to me, actually. It's just Harvest Moon. It's so repetitive, but so addicting at the same time. 6/10.

Sex Appeal: 2/10. XD They are just fish compare to my boyfriend. I don't get connected to the characters enough and don't interest me much compare to HMDS and Cute. Most people might think the opposite.

Storyline: Not as great at IoH, because it isn't as rewarding. But then I like the sun stone idea. Getting sun stones is not that hard if you actually play the game. The sun stones make people play the game (unless they are lazy and cheat). So... 8/10.

Toughness: On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being too easy and 10 being too hard. A 9. It's a tough game, like I said. Harvest Moon is difficult in general. There is no one way to play, and you definitely need some guidance in playing the game well.

New Features: There are some new features improved from IoH. I like them okay. 7/10.

Buy/Rent/Skip: Rent a HM game isn't a great thing to do in my opinion. It's a game that you need to take time and effort into playing. So I say buy.

I give the whole game a 7/10. Overall, I rather get this than IoH if I had to choose one.
