Due to its perceived inefficiency, the use of "Archery" for hunting might be met with skepticism by intermediate and advanced players. However, given the difficulty beginners face in close combat during the current state of HnH (as of the recording date), I recommend starting with the more intuitive "Archery" approach. Of course, this video also includes close combat techniques tailored for beginners.
With "Archery," even with relatively low stats, you can easily take down animals like boars. If you were to attempt to defeat a boar using "Unarmed Combat" alone, you would need combat-related stats of 40 or higher.
With "Archery," as long as you have a bow with a quality of 10 or above and invest 9 levels in "Marksmanship," you'll be able to take down boars.
