* Plain font option for easier readability. high-contrast fore/background with a plain font like Arial Black. Not strictly speaking necessary as such but always helpful to those with eyes weaker than even mine... and screen reader users.
* On the note of screen reader users, if you did want to make TLS completely blind-playable, literally all you'd have to do is have full, 100% keyboard control and a way to highlight with text what is being selected. Think classic ADOM and other roguelikes with a "Look" command.
* More zoom. In, out, way in, way out. Even a little more zoom either way would be appreciated.
* Optional always-on health bars for enemies.
* Optional highlight enemy squares
* Optional alternate click/drag system (see Monster Train which offers both click/drag and click/click) This would allow eye-tracker users (such as a personal friend of mine with ALS) to play The Last Spell and would (in theory) be very easy to implement.
* Gamma/brightness option (alternatively "brighter nights" option?)
* Overall poor visibility of the field at night. SOMETHING needs to be done as I was, especially in the second night, unable to see a lot of the zambies to target them.
