Hawaiʻi Vs. UT Rio Grande Valley Prediction
In a little over two hours from now, the University of Hawaiʻi Men's Basketball team will take on the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Ironically, UH was also a part of the WAC before leaving for the Big West in 2012. This is the first day of the Acrisure Invitational.\n\nUH came off a 3-game homestand against UH-Hilo, Niagara, and Northern Arizona at the Stan Sheriff Center, which they won all three games. The 'Bows are looking to go four-for-four for the first time since the 2021-22 season when they started the Big West Conference play with 7 wins in a row.\n\nThe last time these two teams faced off was on Dec. 16, 2000, in Honolulu. It ended in an 86-73 win for UH; however, UH faced them in Edinburg, TX on Nov. 28, 1978, and it ended in a dreadful 76-56 loss. Can UH find a way to win against the Vaqueros away from the islands this time?
