Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a 2020 compilation of platform games for the Nintendo Switch. It commemorates the 35th anniversary of Nintendo's Super Mario franchise, with high-definition ports of Super Mario 64 (1996), Super Mario Sunshine (2002), and Super Mario Galaxy (2007).

Super Mario 64 is a late 90s platforming adventure game and is the very first 3D Mario game ever made. The game itself was revolutionary for its time as it provided graphics and world of platforming never seen yet in modern gaming. The game drops Mario into the Mushroom Kingdom just outside of Princess Peach's castle following an invite. Upon arriving Mario finds out that she has been kidnapped....again...by the Koopa King himself, Bowser! Mario must find his way to the end of gaming by exploring the castle and jumping into paintings to collect stars and powerups to save the princess and put Bowser in his place. The game is simplistic in nature in that it is mostly running, and jumping which is true to platforming. Each world has variety of different objectives and goals to complete in order to obtain the star. Often stars are hinted in the title prior to selection. The game offers moderate difficulty as the player finds themselves trying to time their jumps and measure their distance! Their are plenty of enemies, bosses, puzzles, and agendas to be completed on this adventure!
