Today we are checking out The Axis Unseen from a solo developer that quit his job after 14 years of creating Bethesda games so he could pursue his own indie game, an open world stealth archer. Nate Purkepile started at Bethesda in 2007 as a world and lighting artist on Fallout 3 and later lead the art direction and co-designed its DLC’s, The Pitt and Point Lookout. Before The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s launch in 2011, Nate helped re-design the linear dungeons on Oblivion into the bespoke memorable experiences of Skyrim. Nate also lead the art direction on Fallout 76 and designed the city of Neon before leaving Bethesda game studios. For the last years Nate has been developing the Axis Unseen which we will be checking out in todays video!
