Heartwell is a 2D souls-like action RPG with cute retro graphics, platforming, and multiple endings being developed by Antomicx. A demo was released on PC on December 8, 2023, and a full release for this indie game will (most likely) occur years afterward. Heartwell is being developed in Clickteam Fusion 2.5.
In this Heartwell dev stream, I discovered a sound effects bug in the testing frame and takes steps to fix the bug! I discovered this bug while I was working on continuing to implement the new UI for the Settings & Exits menu. Once it is fully implemented, the Settings & Exits menu will allow the player to view a summary of their save file record, adjust the game's settings, and provide buttons to return to the main menu or exit the game!
