This is the first of a multi-part video series that will show the process of assembling a 31 year old Heathkit HF-151 Desktop Computer Kit. The HF-151 was a PC/XT compatible computer kit offered starting in 1984.

The kit came to me unassembled, but the boxes have been opened. Hopefully there's no missing parts I can't easily replace. :)

This first part shows the Soldering Course that is used to teach the beginner how to properly solder up a four layer PCB. The video work isn't the greatest, but the follow-on parts will be filmed using a different camera rig that should show a better view of the assembly process.

The videos will not be on a regular schedule - the kit will be built as I have time.
