Finished learning this right before this run. Learned it from the segmented run on SDA and with help from MisterMunkki who found some skips. It's a tough run, the controls are pretty shitty in general so the platforming is already hard because of that, and you have to keep your water (armor) levels at 90% or above to move faster and jump higher. It's crucial for some skips. It also means that if you take too much damage you're just fucked. There are some massive jumps that skip platforming sections that you aren't supposed to be able to do. This is from the q3 engine. They seemed to try and suppress the ability to strafe jump, but they didn't completely solve it. You can still go further if you jump at an angle slightly off of the position you mean to go, and turn your mouse slowly that direction. It's bizarre as hell, but it works.

Yes, this run is horrible. It's the first recorded RTA speedrun of it, so of course it's bad. I don't know how much better it'll get, but I'll at least go for sub 1 hour. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/cubeface21
