Set in the late 8th century, Senua a Pict warrior arrives at the border of Helheim seeking to save her dead lover’s soul.

Developed by Ninja Theory, Hellblade seeks to accurately represent psychosis by having Senua suffer from what she believes to be a curse known as “The Darkness.” Ninja Theory worked with neuroscientists, mental health specialists, non-profit organizations and people suffering from the condition to create a well-received look into what it’s like to suffer from psychosis.
