This is how simple joining on a friend or accepting an invite from a friend works on Steam (provided they have open slot). Launches the game for you and quickly gets to the title screen. Waits for you to press any key which basically sets your controller, and then streamlines you the rest of the way.

I wish this also existed on the PSN side.
