Note: I received a key to stream Hellfront from the Developer.

Hellfront is an odd mix - twin stick shooter and strategy. You control a tank-like entity that can also build turrets and barracks on the map. The turrets will shoot anything that enters their radius while the barracks will pump out troops that you can command to areas around your current position.

I played a bunch of the levels (about halfway through the second world). The game presents harder and harder challenges as you go with levels that really begin to stack the odds against you. Some of the later levels really began to require a lot of planning and pitting the enemy factions against each other.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to try out the multiplayer (campaign or versus) as I usually stream solo at home. It seems that the play with another person could make the campaign levels a little easier as your coordinate your movement with someone else.

Still, this game was a lot of fun. It also led me into a little competition with some other ID@Xbox streaming friends as we tried to best each other's times.

After a good time with this, I switched to finish On a Roll 3D. I had a few levels left to perfect (all stars, enemies, no hit) before I reached all the achievements. It wasn't too difficult beyond playing the game upside down. For some reason, that really bothered me and my sense of balance for a bit. Luckily the sections we're too long and I got it done.
