While the core game of Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders has been completed, there are three additional stand-alone levels to play as well. These three levels can only be accessed by warping to the map via cheat codes in single-player (or using some sort of command line or external launcher). They are strung together, so as such they form a mini 'sixth' episode too, though the last of these levels doesn't have an exit. Needless to say, there is no storyline for these levels and their inclusion in the game should simply be considered a bonus. The unofficial name for this episode is Fate's Path.

None of these levels have official titles, though unofficial titles have arisen over the years from various sources. The first of these levels has been titled Raven's Lair, due to the layout resembling Raven Software's offices at the time. This presents a strange mix of real-world and old-world (Heretic's fantasy setting) as you blast away Iron Liches and Gargoyles in what resemble offices, toilets and a car park! Also, the final Maulotaur of the game awaits...
