Heroes Of The Dark Is A Turn Base Game ... An It Good? - Heroes Of The Dark Let's Play / Review
0Welcome to another lets play today , an this time around we are playing a nice little turn base game involving humans and vampires, aswell werewolves! The main plot of this game is you are a vampire who turn-coat against your kind and now you basically have to revolt and kill the leader of the former crew.
There is more to the story then that but let's start with the concept of the game first because at it's core this is generally what you will do throughout the game and that is of course both Base Building and Plotting Strategic Attacks. These features usually are not incorporated at the same time in a video game but it somehow just works in this game which I found surprising as hell, the next biggest feature is the base building has a State Of Survival or SimTower type of design to it and each of the things you build helps power you up or unlock skills and abilities.
Graphic design is really nice in this game with a plethera of colors but one consistant color background is dreary greys and shades of black or over contrasted shades of white, which I get in a way because of the character basis being undead and lycanthrope but still.
Sound design to me is not impressive nor is it good, it is simply alright. Nothing really else to say about it, so moving on.
Gameplay!
Okay this aspect has several little ticks I need to go over first as the biggest portion of the game is turn based however you do not control the attack basis but you do control the placement then the game basically plays itself, but the fun actually comes from the development of character skills also the building of your player mansion that helps you evolve.
Interface is decent at best an can sometimes get alittle irritating to handle but it's not too intrusive.
