I'm not sure what the end result of the game, "Songs of the Eons," will be but, as it stands, it can form the bulwark of an easy workflow for generating entire planetary masses of hex-mappable terrain. As a generator, it is customizable and uses science (or something near enough) to achive good looking results. We can take those results and feed them into Worldographer to generate hexmaps covering a whole planet that can then be tweaked or manipulated to our hearts' content.
