Hexen 2 was developed by Raven Software and published by id Software on August 31, 1997. This game serves as the finale of the Serpent Riders trilogy after Heretic and Hexen. In this game, the player can once again choose between different classes with different weapons and abilities and now includes the ability to level up to increase stats. Players must navigate different hubs to solve puzzles and acquire keys and artifacts to progress. Each hub ends with one of the Four Horseman, guardians of the last known Serpent Rider, Eidolon.
