Don't wanna limit myself to shoot 'em ups right now, so here's a fun one.
Hexion is a falling-block game. It's based on Hextris by David Markley, which is a Tetris variant that uses shapes made of hexagons. It's pretty much the same concept, make full lines to clear them. The game features Konami mascots like Pentaro, TwinBee, and Moai.
This game has a normal mode, as well as "Form Select" where you can select from three fun playfields. 2 player versus is possible in normal mode.
