In Japan.. HG Gunpla are treated like dollar store items.

In America.. HG Gunpla are treated like premium collectibles due to limited availability.

Bandai intended Gunpla for the Japanese market therefore the stuff was intentionally designed to be dollar store products instead of a high end premium item.

According to multiple opinions.. including my own the Real Grade Gunpla line exist as the "premium" Gunpla for folks with a taste for finer things.

Perhaps the American consumers suffered from Unrealistic expectations because Bluefin Dist.'s business practice requires us all to pay a higher price. Now that Bandai Namco is in charge of it all.. really like to see HG Gunpla priced down to dollar store level affordability.
