2The new Lap Time Challenge is a super-fast blast around the High Speed Ring in the Mazda LM55 VGT.
The top time is currently 0:54.314 and to reach gold you'll need to be under 0:55.9, but as the week goes on I'd say you'll ideally be looking at time in the mid 55's. Learn how close you can get to those barriers before you get a penalty, and get on the power early out of the corner before the tunnel to get that lap time down. This is a quick video to show my best lap with what gears I'm in and the lines I'm taking. I hope it might help a few people find a tenth or two and claim a few extra credits.
I'm a 45 year old gamer with lots of other demands on my time so I only get a few hours a week to race these days. I use a Fanatec CSL Elite wheel and pedals mounted to a Wheelstand Pro. I'm not a world class driver, nor do I take things too seriously. I'm just a happy amateur doing what I can with what I have.
