Hilarious AND Useless?? Funny Death Glitch in Super Mario 3 (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #nes
1,096In Super Mario Bros 3 for the NES, there's a funny and pointless glitch you can try in level 5-2!
You'll need to bring a Tanooki Suit to this level in order to pull this off, and the easiest way to do that is to find one in the Mushroom House just AFTER level 5-2, then get a game over to restart the world. Levels 5-1 and 5-2 will be available to play again, and you will retain your inventory.
Anyway, once you're at level 5-2 equip the Tanooki Suit from your inventory and enter the level. On the very first screen, transform into a statue by pressing and holding Down and B at the top of the slope that leads to the pipe. Mario (or Luigi) will slide down the slope past the edge of the screen and die. Isn't that neat??
There is no point to this glitch. It is completely useless, but I thought it was funny. Thanks for watching!
