HL2:DM test
8Here you see me practicing a bit of bunny hopping. Got a total of 2 hours into HL2DM, I guess this is the extend one can learn in such short time. It made me remember why I hated source games and why I never got into this game.
Bunnyhopping requires precision with jump timing and people get pass that by spamming jump with upwheel, which then de-emphasizes the requirement of precision. Yet there's still some odd "skill" appeal to it according to the community. I don't see the point, it's just annoying. I guess I could be a little better at spamming the jump key though.
Level design is annoying, bumping into random probs is annoying, ladders are annoying, crouch delay is annoying, lack of gauss is annoying, everything is annoying. Prolly not sticking around this game for long. That's my quick review about this game, based on me only running around it lol.
