HMS Dasher 'dashes' to the Baltic⏫
496Royal Navy patrol boats have arrived in the Baltic to help test drone swarm tactics and underwater robot systems as part of a major Nato exercise.
Six vessels – HMS Dasher, Archer, Biter, Example, Pursuer and Smiter – are taking part in Baltops, Nato's flagship Baltic exercise now in its 53rd year.
The patrol vessels are part of the Royal Navy's Coastal Forces Squadron and are some of the smallest commissioned warships in the fleet.
