9This series features a complete beginner's guide to Hollow Knight, the dark, beautiful, platforming, Metroid-Vania sensation. Hollow Knight has a very punishing difficulty curve and with this guide I intend to help you start a new game, explain the basics of controls, the UI, and give tips for surviving the in the early game so you can get to exploring on your own and having fun with the game. I am not min/maxing here and doing my best to not spoil the game. I simply want to help new players get into the game and have a grasp of the fundamentals so they can enjoy Hollow Knight, and also show people some gameplay if they were thinking of buying the game. As I am starting a new game, you can play along to learn the ropes :)
